Impregnated Class 0 Foam…
Class 0 Foam is treated with a mineral compound to give a nil burn rate suited for applications with high fire risk.
Class 0 profile is chemically inert, non-dusting and, owing to its flexibility, is easily applied to curved surfaces or formed to fit complex shapes.
The foam is fire-resistant and does not support combustion. Class 0 profile especially gives excellent sound absorption in engine rooms, generator canopies, heavy vehicles and industrial applications.
Furthermore, we can supply class 0 profile foam with an extensive range of facing materials or spray-applied surface coatings. Additionally, we can provide a composite form with lead foil, polymeric barriers, and damping sheets.
High-density Class 0 profile
The high-density Class 0 profile has exceptional acoustic properties and is indeed an excellent sound absorption material.
Additionally, it is easy and safe to handle and doesn’t erode or migrate in air movement while being non-fibrous. Secondly, a Silver dolphin fabric option is advised if you install Class 0 profile foam, such as cabin trim panels or headliners in the automotive sector.
The Class 0 profile is available for marine or high-heat applications with a foil-facing front and C03/9 PVC to act as a sound barrier.
Class 0 foam is available in sheets, roll foam, facing or profiled form.
The benefits of the Class 0 profile:
- Nontoxic
- Flexible and easy to cut
